What Is A Magic Wallet And How Does It Work

Many of us hold the opinion that wallet is that flat case that goes in to our pocket every morning before we go out for office. But dont mistake it as a mere flat case. The bills, receipts, drivers license, credit cards, cash, contact list etc it carries plays an important role in your life and your life would have come to a stand-still without those. Thus wallets have started to play a vital role in the lives of every man. In this article our focus of discussion will rest not just on any ordinary wallet but on a magic wallet. The other name for magic wallet is trick wallet.

Magic wallet: History

The magic wallet is not a new concept. This revolutionary concept appeared for the first time in the year 1920 and since then it has been existing in the market. A French wait staff invented the magic wallet urged by necessity to conceal receipts and tips. Soon afterwards his invention became popular all across the world and huge numbers of look-alikes were manufactured worldwide. Initially it seems that the magic wallet works on a complicated theory but in reality the theory on which the wallets functioning is based, is not that very complicated. A magic wallet is all about pure skill and it will put an end to all your credit card disorganizations and crushed bank note issues.

Magic wallet: The magic

The magic wallet is shaped as a rectangle and is styled like a booklet. The size is a little bigger than a credit card. You can open the wallet from either side; i.e. both right and left. The opening of the wallet gives you a feeling that you have opened a small book. When you open the wallet, you will get to see vertical straps, two in number running across the left-hand side and two X shaped straps on the right-hand side. The X straps are the tricky part. Fold any paper you have in to of its total size, put the paper on the X and shut wallet. Next step is to flip your magic wallet over and use the left side this time for opening it. You will be wonder-struck to find your paper on the right-hand side securely kept in place with the help of the vertical straps. This is indeed magical. Many people are initially intrigued by this trick. Therefore the name magic wallet is a very suitable name for this kind of a wallet.

Magic wallet: The Theory

Magic wallet functions on an elementary theory. It is basically a three-paneled gadget that has to be made out of any malleable material. Panel 1 is a simple rectangular shaped panel. Panel 3 is also rectangular shaped and bears X shaped straps. Panel 2 or medial panel bears vertical straps, 2 in number that act as a joining link between first and third panel. The first panel remains in the shape of a folder underneath the vertical straps. The wallet finally seems like a booklet with its strap panel resting across first panel on left-hand side and panel bearing the X straps on the right-hand side.

So now you know a little bit more about a magic wallet!

Smart, Stylish Pet-food Storage Solutions

If pets had their way, they’d raid the bags containing their kibble and help themselves to an all-day feast, every day. This is hardly a desirable scenario, as it leads to obesity and digestive upset, so take care to store food where pets can’t get at it while you’re not looking.

Dogs, by the way, are not the only ones guilty of raiding bags of kibble; hungry cats have also been known to apply their claws and teeth to almost-full bags – even those heavy-duty foil models! – and help themselves to heaps of between-meal snacks.

Most pet-food storage containers are made of plastic, which is porous (so their contents are not safe from bacteria) and easily gnawed open by a large, determined dog.

Pet-supply stores sell large clips to “reseal” opened bags of kibble – but these do nothing to prevent the contents from growing stale, or permitting the entry of hungry insects.

Happily, there are much better, more sanitary ways to store large bags of opened kibble.
If there’s room in your refrigerator, stick the opened bag of kibble in there. Or, decant the contents of the bag into glass food-storage jars. These are widely available at kitchen-supply stores and online, and they come in a variety of sizes and shapes, from round to square. Some have threaded metal lids, others close with a rubber washer that securely closes with a metal clamp.

If you’d like double protection – refrigeration plus a glass jar – investigate refrigerator glassware, widely available in nesting sets, complete with convenient plastic lids. Just don’t subject glass that isn’t made for refrigerator storage to your fridge’s chilly atmosphere, or it will crack and break, and you’ll have wasted all that kibble.

In the fridge or out, glass jars keep pets and bugs away from the food, and they look quite decorative just sitting there on your kitchen counter or shelf. The good habit of transferring kibble from the bag to the jar could even inspire you to be better about putting away flour, sugar, and other bagged food items!

Goldfish Details And Information

Goldfish have been around for generations now. They’ve been an integral part of the popular human consciousness and are amongst the preferred pet fish. Goldfish are fantastic starter fish for anyone aiming to start an aquarium. As a result of their long history, they are available in various shapes, sizes and body types. Members of the Carp family, Goldfish make wonderful pets as they are hardy and simple to keep as well as reasonably cheap. It is easy to keep Goldfish in a simple fish bowl as well as in large aquariums. Goldfish are incredible and delightful fish.

Varieties of Goldfish

Common Goldfish: As the name suggests, these are the most typical kind of goldfish and vary in color with their cousins, the Carp. They come in an assortment of colors including Crimson, Orange, White, Yellow and Black.

Black Moor: The eyes are by far the most remarkable part about this Goldfish. They’ve got extraordinary eyes that protrude from their faces. These are also named Dragon Eyes in China

Bubble Eye: This type of fish has eyes that point upward and unusual fluid filled sacks.

Celestial Eye: Very unusual looking fish that nearly looks as if wearing glasses of some sort. Its eyes bulge out and it has an extended swishy tail.

Comet: This fish has a good deal in common with the common Goldfish and is a cute and small variety of fish. Incredibly interesting tail.

Fantail: This sort of Goldfish seems like a Dorito chip. it is triangular and has a large dorsal fin. Very interesting looking critter.

Lionhead: The Lionhead looks gorgeous. It has a fantastic hood and is a very ornamental looking fish.

Oranda: Like the Lionhead, the Oranda also has a large hood that encircles its entire face. Not as pretty as the Lionhead in my opinion.

Telescope Eyed: A much darker color of Goldfish, the Telescope Eyed Goldfish has protruding eyes that make it very unusual looking to say the least.

Panda Moor: This one does’nt even look like your usual Goldfish. A very unusual looking fish in general which has a large split fantail and protruding eyes.

Veiltail: This is a gorgeous fish that has a long swishy tail.

The coolest thing concerning Goldfish is their versatility. They can be kept in small fish bowls, larger tanks as well as ponds and small lakes. There has been some confusion in relation to Goldfish memory spans. They’ve got a memory span of a few months instead of a small number of seconds as originally thought. They will get used to their feeders and will eventually come and feed from your hand.

Goldfish are known to like small shrimp and other crustaceans. They can be given especially formulated food that you can get from your pet store. Try to not overfeed your fish. Kids especially need to be intructed on exactly how much to feed their fish as they can easily become bloated.

Remember to hold a close watch on the vigor of your fish. Watch out for signs of overfeeding or listless behavior and try to find problems before they get bad. Keep the fish tank away from direct sunlight as modifications in temperature may adversely affect the healh of the fish. Goldfish make excellent pets.

Protecting Your Pets’ Plates

Consumers know food manufacturers have systems in place that reduce the risk of food-borne illness and other potential hazards in our food. Less common, is awareness of the rigorous policies of some pet food manufacturers to guarantee the quality and safety of your pet’s next meal.

For example, Diamond Pet Foods follows a quality assurance plan in its manufacturing plants that requires its product to pass 151 safety and quality checks before it reaches your pet’s food dish. The system is designed to add extra layers of protection.

“We believe pet owners should be able to purchase premium products at an affordable price, and, for the past 35 years, we’ve been committed to providing affordable, high-quality pet food options,” said Mark Brinkmann, the company’s chief operations officer. “The 151-check system will help us continue offering reasonably priced, premium products by adding extra assurance that our ingredients are top-quality and safe.”

The system consists of 141 separate tests and checks on the incoming pet food ingredients, and 10 safety and quality checks on the final bagged product prior to shipment.

For testing of incoming grain ingredients, 12 samples are taken of each shipment, which is three times the sample number regulatory standards require.

Mark Mascarenhas, the company’s quality control director, said the substantial final product tests provide additional assurance before the product is shipped to the customer.

“We have built redundancies into our 151-check system as an extra measure to prevent error,” said Mascarenhas. “Our quality system uses the latest technology and equipment, and high-quality ingredients that help animals digest nutrients.”

All of the company’s products are “precision formulated” for content, quality, consistency and uniformity. In addition to its commitment to safety and quality, Diamond undergoes audits by a respected independent laboratory for food safety, quality and palatability.

Comparing The Pedipaws And Peticure Pet Nail Trimmers

Pet lovers know how important it is to be careful when clipping their nails. One of the biggest mistakes you can make when you cut a dogs nails is to cut too much so that it bleeds. That is extremely painful for the dog. And so tools like Pedipaws and Peticure are very useful for dog lovers. But between the two, which is better?

Pedipaws uses rotating emery bands to gently file nails with a precision filing wheel that gently removes thin layers of nail at a time, they say, and keeps them in the container so they dont fall on the floor or fly around. Pedipaws costs US$19.99 plus US$7.99 for shipping and handling. As a free bonus you also get a Shed Ender simply at the cost of shipping and handling.

Independent reviewers note that one disadvantage is that Pedipaws has only one size hole for the nails, so it will be useless for bigger dogs with larger nails. Also it accommodates less dust and there have been problems with clogging. It is also recommended that you buy Pedipaws from a store like Wal-Mart rather than from its official website, because of customer complaints problems.

Peticure is also a nail filer for pets that functions in the same way, with rotary action filing the pets nails a sliver at a time. The item comes in several pieces and directions on how to assemble the Peticure. The Peticure comes with a safeguard to catch shavings and a rechargeable battery. It also has adjustable size openings, eliminates accidental hair winding, abrasions, and projectile nail debris. According to them, nails should be filed only three to five seconds at a time. The Peticure costs US $29.99 plus shipping and handling.

Independent reviews of Peticure said that initially the dog gets anxious by the vibration and sound. The official site of Peticure offers a step by step instruction on how to overcome this. Reviews also said it may not grind the nail down as much as you want it to. The fact that it is cordless makes it easier to use. Bands have to be replaced now and then, and it only comes with three bands. Batteries run out easily, often within the first day of use. Whats more, if you buy Peticure, reviewers recommend that you get it from Amazon rather than from their own website. It will be cheaper, and some people who tried to get it from the website have experienced grief. However, after some vicious complaints, they say that Peticure has bent over backwards in remedying this. Until customer service is 100% perfect, we say better safe than sorry, and its cheaper anyway at Amazon.

So which product is better? The Peticure is more expensive by about US $10, but the fact that is has many sizes sounds more appealing, especially if you have, or plan to have more than one dog, and different dog breeds, too. Ideally, I would also rather buy either one at a store so I can see it for myself before making a final judgement.
